bathroom ideas

my room is almost done,
{pictures to come}
we will be starting the kitchen soon,
so naturally my mind wanders
straight to the bathroom.
and i think about how bland and ugly
it is in there.
i cant wait for a little extra cash
{who knows when that'll be}
to spruce things up a notch or two
or like ten.
here are a couple

i saw a lot of pom pom wreaths

on peoples blogs at christmas time.

i first saw it here

and here is a tutorial.

i like how fluffy and pom pommy it is.

it was super fun and easy to make.

i think im going to want one for every holiday!

that pretty much sums up darby right now.

family home evening you are a pain in my butt {sometimes}

i try my darndest to do family home evening regularly.

my kids are crazy for bowling

and seriously they want to go every monday.

sometimes pulling of FHE by myself can

be enough to put me in the crazy house.

last night we had 2 huge meltdowns

a bowling alley that was closing early in 10 minutes,

which caused 2 more huge meltdowns.

then finally we made it.

to a bowling alley.

the kids had a great time as usual.

and it was worth the pains in my butt to get us there.

kitchens on the brain

inch by inch im getting closer

to getting my kitchen done.

so naturally decorating the damn thing

is all i can think about.

im for sure going to do a super rad

one of my favorite albums ever.
radiohead, in rainbows.
this is the best song to edit photos to.
and it reminds me of cruisin around
san francisco with my sis.
my kids listen to this song in the car
over and over and over and over and over...
{they seriously just ran into my room
just now cause they heard me playing it
so funny}

slow goings

its been so nice relaxing and taking it slow
weve spent most days
{the ones i had off}
in christmas pajamas, playing on my bed,
watching movies.
i really love and miss being with my kids all day.
so im enjoying it while it lasts

party time

breakfast for dinner,
homemade party hats (killed like 2 hrs)
bubbly
and its a mad mad mad mad world.

christian made it till midnight!
