time for tea?

while the kids were with their dad
over the weekend i went to ikea
with my sisters.
and going to ikea without kids is the BEST!
EVER!
you can take your sweet time
and look at everything.
i got darby a new tea set and table
then set it up with some cake bites
the day they were coming home.
and yes had to take a billion pictures.
both darby and christian were so excited.
and we have had a tea party
just about every night.

and ready for a little february action.
so my sister has created a crocheting monster.
im a monster i tell ya!
she is amazing.

she taught me how to crochet hearts.
they are super easy and fun to do.
it was a nice little break from granny squares.
{ive got 40 more left to do!}

yes i had to add mini pom poms.

ive been really really loving my personal
photo a day project.
my online friend
{its not creepy i promise}
is doing it too this year and
its been fun to follow hers as well.

and i thought it was sooooo good.
im such a nerd.

staying classy with the classifieds

here is my latest ksl find.
ive been looking for a big unique mirror
for a long time.
and all the ones id find were out of
my price range.
i saw this gem for $40!!
when i went to pick it up
it was a LOT bigger than i thought.
but bigger is better.
i managed to bring it in the house by myself
{inch by inch}
but recruited help to hang it.

last summer christian adopted a snail

that he found at simeons house.

gary was his name.

gary lived a whopping 2 weeks

i really didnt think he'd last a day.

looking at these pictures

make me so ready for spring/summer.

i can barely stand it.

i really struggle in the winter time

and now that i work all day

its been super hard.

i am definitely a sunshine girl.

this has saved my butt.

i swear it works!

i highly recommend it for anyone
