come say goodbye to summer.

its going to be a blast!

christian moved out today.
packed his backpack.
with plenty of socks mind you.
because i was a mean mom.
his exact words
"i need to leave!"
"im outta here!"
even though it stung and hurt a little bit
i watched quietly as he packed
asked where he was going.
didnt need to ask why,
he made it clear that i was a mean mom.
he said he was going to live at jacks house now.
i said ok.
and watched him get on his bike
and ride to jacks house.
i walked behind him so he couldnt see that
i was following him,
and texting jacks mom megan
letting her now that christian was movin in!
about 45 minutes later
jacks mom and dad pull up
and christian jumps out of the car
and runs to me.
gives me the biggest hug and tells me he loves me.
i told him i loved him too soooooo much.
and he said he was sorry.
im so glad that i have such wonderful people
around us that my son wants to run away too :)
and that they will take time with him
and talk to him and love him,
so that he will jump out of their car
totally happy and content.

ive been so busy living

and trying not to be overwhelmed by life.

but thats summer for you right?

i got my new cards the other day

and i must say i like them a lot more

than my old ones.

my sister did my little logo.

i love it :)

and of coarse it looks better in real life.

tender times

went for a run tonight with my friend jamie
who is running the wasatch back on another team.
its fun running with someone now and again.
im feeling good and strong
cant wait for this weekend
but my knees are hurting...

im having such a good weekend
with these 2 crackups.
christian got new glasses
and he straight up loves them.
he doesnt need glasses
but ever since his eye check up
{a year ago}
he has been complaining that he cant see.
i remember doing that when i was little.
these glasses were 3 dollars at urban outfitters
i thought why not?
it would make his day.
its funny,
he pretends he cant see without them now.

call me crazy but ive found my dream house...

running just as fast i can...

im starting to get so excited and nervous
to run this.
i wanted to do it last year with my sister erin
but life was a little crazy
getting used to becoming a working single mom.
but this year someone on her team dropped out
and i jumped at the chance.
its been so fun training and running again.
its making me want to do another marathon
really bad!
i have a friend and neighbor
{her name is lindsey too}
who is an amazing runner
that just graduated in health and nutrition
she put together a health/nutrition/exersize plan just for me
im a vegetarian and im trying to rid myself of sugar.
and i love it!
ive lost 7 lbs in the 2 weeks
ive been both running and doing her nutrition plan.

christmas in june

i never knew an old spray painted

wicker couch could bring so much

joy and happiness

into my life.

my friend buffy found it by a dumpster

{check out her before and after photos}

painted it yellow and made a cushion then

used it for a baby shower.

she had no where to put it

so i happily took it off her hands!

i cant wait to sew huge pillows for it

and also use it for photoshoots.
