running the 10k Dirty Dash
may have been one of the funnest
things ive ever done.
for reals!
it was so fun having bryton and christian there
watching and taking pictures.
and the race was totally worth my
black and blue 5 inch bruise on my shin.
and losing a contact when em hit me in the face with mud.


here we are all squeaky clean...

and we are all muddy...

this was just crossing the finish line.

i love getting pictures from my babysitter

on my phone.

it makes me miss the crap out of darby.

but it also makes me super happy

that she is with an awesome family during the day.

christian and darby have been so excited
to have their big brother here.
B reminded me that im still his stepmom
even though im not married to his father anymore.

anywho. we have lots of fun things planned this weekend.

and yes darby is barefooted.
didnt realize that she didnt have her flip flops on
until we were half way to the parking lot.
and i forgot and he had baggage to pick up
on the way back from getting flip flops
and half way to the parking lot.

carmel apple cider time

the last couple days
ive had the mornings off.
and where have i been and what have i been doing?
ive been at barnes and nobles
editing my pants off.
sipping carmel apple cider, my fav.

me: oh fun. how come you dont sit next to your guy friends?

i dont even want to share how long
it took me to make this blanket.
its all done!
and i love it.
i made it to go in my room and the living room.
i cant wait to share the blanket
that im working on now, its pretty rad.
i think ill make some for all my pregnant friends.
and holy cow like everyone is pregnant.

i know thats not the reality of a stay at home mom
