book club party night

book club is tonight!
cant wait. its going to be so fun.
i think half the fun of a party is decorating for it.
am i right or am i right ladies?
anywho...

while browsing for ideas for decorations.
what a great way to use those
anthro magazines you hate to love
and cant throw away.
i even went to the thrift store
bought an old book
and did the same technique.
love it!

that an upside down basket
would make an amazing hanging light.

this one is in the almost done kitchen.
ive had that basket for years and years.
it had lotion and crap in it.
i was going to toss it.
im so glad i didnt.
the contractor thats making the kitchen beautiful
just got a hanging light kit at home depot.
super easy cheesy.

this one is in my bedroom.
got the basket from etsy for $10
spent $10 on parts from home depot.
and gave my friends hubby a
gift cert to pf changs for hanging it.
but total cost $20!!

sleepless nights

i could not, for the love,
go to sleep last night.
but i got a wild hair to make
a bib necklace for darby
to wear to church today.
it was super fun and easy to do.
here is a good tutorial on
how to make the fabric flowers.
im so paying the price today,
i can barely keep my eyes open...

saw this cute cluster funk
and thought id take a whack at it

i really like how mine turned out
i think im going to make them bigger
every year by adding more.
then when they get huge
hang them like a chandelier...
