she is a perfect mix to me :)

i love getting pictures from my babysitter

on my phone.

it makes me miss the crap out of darby.

but it also makes me super happy

that she is with an awesome family during the day.

B is here!
christian and darby have been so excited
to have their big brother here.
B reminded me that im still his stepmom
even though im not married to his father anymore.

anywho. we have lots of fun things planned this weekend.

and yes darby is barefooted.
didnt realize that she didnt have her flip flops on
until we were half way to the parking lot.
and i forgot and he had baggage to pick up
on the way back from getting flip flops
and half way to the parking lot.
its been a long day...
and delta sucks...

me: so christian, who do you sit next to at lunch?
c: i sit next to alexis.
me: oh fun. how come you dont sit next to your guy friends?
c: because alexis is as sweet as a pumkin.

c: but i cant ever tell her that because then
she'll have a huge crush on me.

today i miss being a stay at home mom.
i miss everything about it
the good AND the bad.
dont get me wrong im grateful
that i have a job and the ability to provide
for my 2 kiddos.
today i want to clean my home,
take darby out and play
and have cookies waiting for christian when
he gets home from school
and do homework together.
i know thats not the reality of a stay at home mom
but thats what i want today...

little turkey

christian moved out today.
packed his backpack.
with plenty of socks mind you.
because i was a mean mom.
his exact words
"i need to leave!"
"im outta here!"
even though it stung and hurt a little bit
i watched quietly as he packed
asked where he was going.
didnt need to ask why,
he made it clear that i was a mean mom.
he said he was going to live at jacks house now.
i said ok.
and watched him get on his bike
and ride to jacks house.
i walked behind him so he couldnt see that
i was following him,
and texting jacks mom megan
letting her now that christian was movin in!
about 45 minutes later
jacks mom and dad pull up
and christian jumps out of the car
and runs to me.
gives me the biggest hug and tells me he loves me.
i told him i loved him too soooooo much.
and he said he was sorry.
im so glad that i have such wonderful people
around us that my son wants to run away too :)
and that they will take time with him
and talk to him and love him,
so that he will jump out of their car
totally happy and content.

my kids are rad

im having such a good weekend
with these 2 crackups.
christian got new glasses
and he straight up loves them.
he doesnt need glasses
but ever since his eye check up
{a year ago}
he has been complaining that he cant see.
i remember doing that when i was little.
these glasses were 3 dollars at urban outfitters
i thought why not?
it would make his day.
its funny,
he pretends he cant see without them now.

and she was busting out some serious moves

schools out for summer!

it was so fun watching cman
do the jello dance
at the end of the year
dance festival
{i did the jello dance too!}
afterwards we went and got smoothies.

infections

so sad and sick.

darby is probably the HARDEST kid
to get to take medicine.
ive tried everything and it doesnt work.
hopefully the shot the doctor gave her will kick in soon.
but she has been loving this vicks baby rub.
she sticks her chin out she wants it :(
and its been one of the only comforting thing for her
to have me message it on her neck and belly and back.

sick kids are the worst.
and probably this post is too...

today was carnival day at cmans
kindergarten class.
him and avery did a hula hoop act.
the teacher said that they did
a very good job remembering the routine.
