selena who?

christian quickly forgot about selena gomez
when he found a lookalike on the beach.
he frolicked with her for a long time.
it was so funny
me and auntie adri were laughing so hard.

the magic kingdom awaits

what i cant wait for...
mom and sisters
sunshine
the beach thats 5 minutes away
trader joes
lots and lots of extra helping hands
moms pool and backyard
meeting sisters new boyfriend
disneyland
mom and jenny's cooking
playing with my kids all day all weekend
naps
last but not least:
selena gomez!
cman thinks that because she lives in california
we are going to see her.
i think he is just excited about her
as seeing grandma, aunties and disneyland.
ive tried explaining it to him
that we arent going to see her
but it goes in one ear and out the other.

taken last year in the backyard

who da thunk?

that an upside down basket
would make an amazing hanging light.

this one is in the almost done kitchen.
ive had that basket for years and years.
it had lotion and crap in it.
i was going to toss it.
im so glad i didnt.
the contractor thats making the kitchen beautiful
just got a hanging light kit at home depot.
super easy cheesy.

this one is in my bedroom.
got the basket from etsy for $10
spent $10 on parts from home depot.
and gave my friends hubby a
gift cert to pf changs for hanging it.
but total cost $20!!

{a tutorial}

ill post better pic's when the kitchen is done
and ive painted my bedroom ceiling...
sometimes i wish i had more hours in a day...

sleepless nights

i could not, for the love,
go to sleep last night.
but i got a wild hair to make
a bib necklace for darby
to wear to church today.
it was super fun and easy to do.
here is a good tutorial on
how to make the fabric flowers.
im so paying the price today,
i can barely keep my eyes open...

i watched this movie while
i was crafting.
it was awesome.

little miss avery even when its not so cool
to have girls as friends...

or saving for a new lense

i would make these purchases right away...

the awesome/rad lady and her hubby
that watches the kids during the day
got cman this air hockey table.
how rad is that???
we didnt have time to set it up
but i think tomorrow...

the end of a wonderful day.
sitting at his new desk and chair
listening to his ipod
and playing with his ds...
happy birthday christian
i love you more than anything.

good day sunshine part 1

christians birthday morning
polaroid style...

he got it!!
his DS i thought he was going
to die from happiness

this made me laugh so hard
cmans teacher asked if he wanted
hard or soft birthday spankins
he replied
"hugs"
with a huge smile on his face.
so he got 6 birthday hugs
instead of spankins.
